I have bitten my fingers, my nails and the skin around them my entire life and didn’t think it was possible ever to stop. I was a bit skeptical about hypnotherapy and was very nervous before the session but Cath explained what we would be doing in the session and managed to calm me down before we started. I am so grateful to Cath as I have tried so many times before to stop and never succeeded. I for one have always been a little hesitant about hypnotherapy and believed I couldn’t be helped. Well, I gave Hypno-Tates Hypnotherapy a try and I was surprised! Cath who gave me the session (via Zoom) really put me at ease, talked me through the session and everything that was going to happen. The most relaxed hour in months, I certainly felt calmer and clearer and brighter too. I had been struggling with the grief of losing my best friend to suicide for 2 hard years when I finally sought out the help of Hypno-Tates. After the first session, my immediate feeling of sadness/sickness that I would get when thinking about my friend and the situation had gone, and been replaced with a feeling of warmth and comfort. I had a further session for anxiety and realised that through their Hypnotherapy  Cath and John allowed me to pinpoint the issues i needed addressing and deal with  them whilst I was under. I’ve continued for a few more sessions and I’m feeling great. The relief and positive change that hypnotherapy with them has brought me is hard to put in to words, but I would encourage anyone considering help with anxiety, grief, addiction, depression and other intimate issues who thinks they are beyond curable, to give Cath and John a call.

I thought hypnotism was hocus pocus. Not any more. On a recent flight I was gripping the seat arms for dear life, cursing every noise and movement the plane made and sweating hideously.

Flights are usually sheer panic throughout. Up steps John with an offer of help, and skeptically I agree. He starts up and I allow my thoughts to be directed by John.

I am fully aware of whats going on but somehow he strips away the worries and anxiety and talks to a logical part of my brain that is clouded by these fears. Long story short – it was as though he flipped a switch and I was sat there without a care in the world. From then on turbulence and landing were a doddle. I cant thank him enough.

Will certainly be back again to sort out any other fears.

I went so as I could start to eat healthy. One session and one week into it and I am not wanting chocolate or crisps.

I was slightly nervous beforehand but Cath and John soon put me at ease, they were both so inviting and calming. Everything was explained thoroughly and to my understanding. Cath put me at ease straight away as I was feeling a bit apprehensive with it being my first time and didn’t really think it was going to work. So far I have lost just over a stone in weight .

Total sceptic when it comes to hypnotherapy but decided to give it a go and sure glad I did. Nervous yet excited, Cath soon made me feel at ease. Her explanation was comprehensive and informative allowing me the ability to relax. At no point was I made to feel uncomfortable and found the whole experience so relaxing.

Had a session today to help me get over a fear that was impacting on my life. Could not believe how much the session helped me. Completely amazed by how effective the hypnosis and kinetic shift was. I was able to do what I had been avoiding for so long – not just do it, I actually enjoyed it!!
Was a little skeptical at first but completely blown away by how much just one session has helped.
Cath was so supportive and reassuring through out the whole process which made me feel more relaxed about it all. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!!

I came to Cath in a last hope attempt quite some weeks ago, I left it this long to leave a review to see if the effects of hypnotherapy worked and I cannot recommend it enough, it was such an amazing experience, Cath explained everything thoroughly and took exceptional care, followed by excellent aftercare. I’m a skeptical person by nature so I wasn’t convinced of hypnotherapy, that was before my wife and I had a session with them. John and Cath are the best suited people for hypnotherapy, they are both highly knowledgable, clued-up and welcoming people.
